I like it! But not for 3K. Were I wanting another one, I’d pick up one of the many used ones available, refinish it, and install a Babicz.
I don't need another one, but the first thing to go would be the blue. Maybe a nice black or Pullman green.

I was a litigator. Mostly casualty defense. My clients were almost always liable. Not a whole lot of fun when the insurance companies didn’t want to pay for legitimate injuries and made me try cases that should have been resolved just to save a few bucks. The only ones I kind of enjoyed were when the other side was pushing phony injuries and using crooked docs. There is a lot of fraud out there in the PI “industry.” Taking them down was fun. But the grind was tedious. Large caseloads and rarely any down time.
I better understand why you so disliked it now. My old friend who is a prosecutor now hated when he was handed cases where he had to defend a person everyone including satan knew was guilty (generally for the 13th time). Dealing with them and the unlimited nonsense really wore him down. We talked years ago when it was bothering him. I mentioned you just need to make sure they are treated justly under the law and not see your job as getting them off. He said that was what he did and all he did. Many would do what it took to get a person off to win a case, he was happy to lose one knowing that justice was done and he protected his client from wrong application of the law--but hit his actions. He loves being a prosecutor and enjoys trying to put people in jail who legally need to be there.

He's very dry, funny and disarmingly sarcastic. I told him recently I really wanted to visit when he had a court date and sit in. He would be fun to watch.

cool tuning trick replacing the ribbon cables (like on right) with single wires......because the design happens to coincidentally split the PCBs at the tube high impedance points, wiggling them around could definitely be a very cool way to tune these model amps since the wires are insulated and most are decoupled audio paths (lesser shock hazard) Also, since they are solid, they would stay (when done wiggling/coupling more so than stranded.....

What does the tuning improve?

It's likely fairly new, all natural finish, has a DiMarzio in it, I haven't played thru an amp yet.
Don't play it through an amp unless you are going to buy it. It will sound very much like my EB-2, and you remember what that sounded like through the 360 down in the Basement of Blasphemy and Bad Ideas. I think the EB-2 is my best sounding bass. You wouldn't think so because of the pickup placement, but there it is. I don't play it much these days. I should.

In PA?

I enjoy living in the Los Padres National Forest. Nothing beats the smell of the pines in the evenings while enjoying a cold one.

There is a snake relocation expert up here that we can call if one decides to make a permanent home near the house.

Bears here are sticking to coming out after dark for the most part. We’ve had two visits on our property in the last few weeks. Along with mountain lions/bobcats, coyotes, deer, squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks, skunks, hawks, jays, woodpeckers, quail, owls, and countless other birds. We’ve even seen the occasional condor. And of course mice.

We now have electric bear mats. And multiple cameras. We had a very costly bear break in in ‘24. Hence the mats and cameras. And there’s a SVT rig in the basement that I occasionally play too loud but no one has complained. The rig comes in handy to scare away the woodpeckers when they beat on the house.

There is a real problem bear roaming now that has already caused thousands of dollars of damage since April. CDFW will have to do something about that one.

I have become much more wildlife aware now.
Now I know why you want the 360. Point it at a bear or rattlesnake or whatever you want and turn it to liquefy. Problem solved.
