I guess they represent something to a lot of people. They are protected a lot of places.

I suppose the judge could tell you why or explain it.
There are at least 10 types of rattlers in Texas. As far as I've ever been able to find, none of them are protected. I'm not into rattlesnake roundups for their own sake, but I also don't want them in any area most people will be in.
 
I was going to try to get oysters classified as a religious topic so it was banned, but I heard there's a mod i the group who loves oysters, so ...

You do? I didn't know they were open on Sundays! That would explain why I've never seen you there. I thought it was a reference to Nasty Habits, which I enjoyed thoroughly!

How is the new space? I haven't been in since the shop moved.

The new space shared with Thunder Road is beyond beautiful, Frank Gross did an absolutely amazing job of putting it together - worth a visit!

At fairs in Texas, you can usually get deep fried most anything. Oreos and various candy bars (especially Snickers) are always popular. I've heard of deep fried butter but haven't run across it yet.
I hadda try it at the FL State fair. Not great-too much of a 'not good for you' thing. Deep fried cream cheese(battered)was excellent.
