Apparently there's a nice lava burst on eBay right now at a fair price. No relation, but if you're inclined to buy one that's a cool one to get, pretty rare and quite beautiful. Will hold its value very well if not grow in value.

That one that I had spotted was on Reverb.com, and it's gone now. They aren't priced at a bargain... but I found these anyway...

That PJ special is awesome. I couldn't put it down in GC. I had to eventually because $800... I respect that model, its a "geddy p"

Don't recall a $799 Gibson in any SoCal GC I frequented. And in 2015, I was on the hunt. Went to every store more than once. The 2015 went to $999.00 when I snagged mine. There were 2013s at $999 and $1099. I don't recall a single 2014. I did see a mess of a 2013 on the wall in Pasadena that I talked to them about; they were willing to do $899.00 because the inserts were pulling up. I passed (in hindsight I should have bought it). All of the ones during the GC blowout included cases. Deals of the decade. Some of us were lucky to score amazing basses at incredible prices. Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good. I'm never going to part with my 2015. It's a lifer.

This was an online thing, I didn't see it in stores, and they sold out rather quickly.

So, does your pool have a cooling system?

We frequented Arizona every six to eight weeks over four years while our son was at NAU (nice school, thank you Arizona for a decent education at an affordable cost!). Flagstaff is at a nice 7000 ft. elevation. So we never experienced severe heat. But a few winters were amazing with tons of snow. Our son worked part time at the Snow Bowl while going to college and loved it. Flag is one of the places we are looking to retire to.

No pool at this house but sure wouldn't mind one. My daughter graduated from NAU as well. Flagstaff is nice until they have a heavy snow year. It is amazing how different the climate can be between here and a couple hour drive north.

115+? I can't even imagine. But ask me again in January and I'd saw my arm off for 50 degrees.

That is why I live here. I can't take severe cold and would rather deal with the heat.

I played it while i was there, and although i'm not a fan of hollow bodies, it's a sweet rig.

Actually I'm one of the very few club members here that does in fact sport a tort guard on his Gibson bass. I'll spare the club the agony and not post a picture of it.

It's on a Gibson, some of us just have to live with that.

We can all travel from our respective parts of the world, in/on our Thunderbird issue jets, rockets, submarines and jet packs and convene there, to strategize about marshalling our sonic bass forces and superior sense of rhythm to foil our evil nemesis, T.O.R.T. (have no idea what the letters stand for there but we need an evil nemesis).
