In the mid 80s I shared shop space in L.A. with a guy who was doing custom moldings for a high end house. He bought 3000 bf of Honduras. He let me pick through it and I built a bedroom suite from what I chose. Unfortunately, no pix.I have a small stash. If I had known what was going to happen with it back when, I would have a big stash of it. I'm not sure what's special enough and small enough for what little I still have. There isn't enough left to build chairs, my favorite use of it.
I've got something that looks eerily close to that! If I weren't a total Luddite I'd post pictures of my Cataldo (number 50,) but I am. So y'all will just have to take my word for it that it's that color and it's gorgeous!

I was wondering what was up with the pg on that black TBird on the far right, then I stumbled upon a short scale Gibson TBird in the classifieds that looks identical. If that is a short scale how's it play compared to a long scale TBird?View attachment 1196830
This is the only pic I have of Dorothy(ruby red) on my phone. If you'd like to see better pics, I can take some when I get home. Let me know if you're interested, Bryan.

Hey, maybe I'll buy that lefty, change the nut out and string it up right handed then flip it for $12,000.I can't vouch for the brand name, but you lefties seem to be pretty starved. This is a good lookin' neck-thru lefty that you don't need to take out a mortgage for...
DILLION USA, THUNDERBIRD, LEFTHAND, NECK THROUGH MAHOGANY NECK, NITRO ,VERY RARE | eBay
<edit>
One of the photos reveals what would appear to be a neck/body joint (something you don't typically see on a neck-thru). It would appear to be a set neck... but still worth a lookysee
