Thunderbird Club

Quite possibly you do!
Fly out to the Best Coast!
Just give the smoke another couple days to clear.

I am taking two weeks off starting the 14th, but going to South Carolina and then taking care of all the live creatures in New Jersey while my cousin takes a breather.
I may try for the Best Coast at the end of the year, or beginning of next.

Why advertise something you haven't made yet ( and are only making 100 of) a year in advance?
Oh, no. I agree with that. I was reacting more to the idea that they'd make these limited quantities & put 'em out there (most likely at over-inflated prices) without saying anything about it. "Normal Joe" never even gets a chance at one. I'm sure if Henry J. had his way, Each Gibson would come with a warning sticker that reads "KEEP OUT OF REACH OF NORMIES". (I really don't like that guy)

I have the feeling that you'd aim for Portland, but Seattle's just up the road :)

Not the case at all, I wanted a Nikki Sixx Mk. II, I knew they'd a limited number bass. I called Wildwood Guitars ( a Gibson specialist dealer in Colorado), they had never heard of it, I explained, they did some leg work with Gibson and reserved one for me. I waited patiently, they delivered. I'm not normal, but not really special either, you just have to be a bit pro active about it if you want one.

Last weekends rig.

I didn't know that. He did a great job!

My First Bach NR purchased in 2012 was a big disappointment out of the box, didn't touch her for about two and a half years, then did some modifications (tuners, nut, pickup), not a great job, and put it on stage in 2015....good bass now but not the dream bass.....now my rehearsal backup

Watched the trailer for that American Satan fillum.

It should come with a rating MM: viewers are advised this film contains Malcolm McDowell.

The Wikipedia entry says 'the film controversially makes reference to the Illuminati and Satanism'. Controversial with who? 14 year olds? Even the promise of Bird glimpses would not induce me to see this.

PS: if there was a Bird playing Kat wearing A.P.C. or Marimekko there may be grounds for legal action, but as things stand it's seems that the character is a composite of multiple denizens of Thunderbird Club. If she looks like a Chechen warlord, we'll know for sure.

You're the 3rd Fenderbird on the list of "dream basses". What is the attraction? Looks? Feel? uniqueness?
(just to be absolutely clear... there is no attitude, "judginess", or ulterior motive to my question. That crap lives out amongst the GenPoppers. It's just that I would've been adequately surprised by one Fenderbird response. With three of them... I'm startin' to wonder if I'm missin' out on sumthin'!)

I like small headstock P Bass necks and TBird bodies.

I've owned two, both needed work, fret dress bridge massage. Sunburst and white. Middle two are the first NR Birds I built with GodofThunder pickguards. I put vintage TBird pickups in the Bachs but switched them back to Artecs when I sold them. They did hold their value.
