I'll call in the other squad as well to take care of it @BklynKen.

A greedy person who bought it to flip for over $3000 more.

Reason enough.

I see nothing wrong in someone doing this. It really is a seller's market when it comes to rare vintage instruments. There are people to whom $3K above market value is a drop in the bucket... that's who the seller is looking for and sadly for most of us it ain't us.

Exactly. Nothing wrong unless you want it but can't afford it.

How would the strings affect that? I'm leaning towards "who knows".
I'm just going by observation. I've seen it happen when I change to a different brand of string and I've seen it no matter the string set.

Drive to NYC without your phone and credit card, no one will ever notice :ninja::cigar:
Unless of course you have a sat/nav system in your car, or worse yet - OnStar. And don't forget, large sums of cash (excess of a couple thousand bucks) which would be needed for the credit cardless trip put you into a drug related money laundering profile if stopped by the police and therefore is subject to confiscation along with all other assets you have in your possession. Then there's all the traffic cameras and toll road booth cameras to deal with. Na, just get some local talent for the job, it's best that way. Besides, I think I'd kinda stick out a bit in a Speed yellow Porsche Cayman or a Zenith Blue (violet/purple) Porsche 911. I get pulled over just doing the speed limit in those cars.

Hey, maybe you could start a crowd fund - call it "Cap a Flipper", I'll donate. :D

But the the actual task is no big deal though :roflmao::roflmao:
I forgot about the nav systems. Yesterday was the first time I drove a vehicle from the past 3 decades since April, my daily doesn't even have a radio never mind Nav systems
