Thunderbird Club

I hear you about Thunderbird projects. I have been playing the upright nearly all the time these days. Thursday and Friday night are both going to be upright bass gigs. I'm trying to figure out how to sneak the 'Bird into the band that plays on Friday. It's a band that could have an electric bass set, whether it's the fretless 'Bird or a snarling, growling thunderous 'Bird. Maybe both. We have two + sets with the upright. Now maybe it's time to have a fretted 'Bird set and a fretless 'Bird set. More stuff to carry, but who cares when you have a cart and a van, anyway?

Saw a 2012 (personal 50birthday year bass) Gibson for $2200 yesterday. The 2014 Cherry on ABH that @theFixer generously stuck into my brain is cheaper than that and nos. and in NSW I think opposed to Sth Aust for the 12.

Nice version of "Maybe I'm Amazed" - great wolfy tone on his bass, very EB-0 like. Something to be said about a having a neck-hugger pu on board :bassist:
