Beck-Ola is one of my favorite albums (as is Truth). Ron Wood's tone (primarily a Telecaster bass into a Marshall 200 [the version with only master volume, bass volume and treble volume]) is incredible, and his phrasing and note placement is really unique. It's still something I'm constantly listening to and trying to nail down. It's like he's always leaning way, if you know what I mean. Despite only having these two albums of him really on bass, he's one of my favorites, honestly up there with Entwistle and Bruce. And his playing is so ferocious. There aren't a whole lot of live recordings of them of quality, but give a listen here:
His playing on Plynth to start of is brutal, like he's about to tear the instrument apart. Let Me Love You is one of my favorite songs by them, it's got such a groove, and then they throw in the "I Was Made to Love Her" lick in call and response. Skip to the 46:00 minute mark to hear Spanish Boots with Wood taking an outro solo so you can really hear how burly his tone is (if that's not the sound of speakers on the edge of death idk what is).
This one, while of lesser sound quality, still has pretty goo clarity during his solo:
