Electric bagpipes and maybe a Hurdy Gurdy type thing along with a hard hitting drummer and solid bass player, not a bad band, interesting and different while still very mainstream and hard rock. I don't condemn others that do like them. I know it's a "me" thing.

Bad Haggis are AWESOME!!! That's the second coolest thing I've ever heard with bagpipes (out of respect, the number one slot belongs to AC/DC)! The rhythm section is tight (including the guitar player when he locks in with 'em), and they're all really good at their instruments! I'm gonna look 'em up & see what else I can find from them! Thanks for posting!:thumbsup:

To clarify... I'm not rippin' on bagpipes. In this scenario, I'm referring to an hour long session consisting of nothing but over-revved droning. No melody... no intricacy... nothing to make it interesting... just pure, unadulterated "HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONK". I probably coulda come up with a better metaphor. That's just the one that flew outa my fingers at 2:00 in the morning. I'm not one to sit around and listen to an album of bagpipe music... but I find their history, cultural significance, and pageantry, fascinating. The one time I was in London, I happened upon a street magician/juggler who was being backed up by a piper, in full dress, playing through a Marshall full stack!:cool:

If anyone's interested... this is a great show! I'm in li'l ol' Grand Rapids, Michigan. We don't have a lotta cool stuff that happens here like it does in LA or NY... so it's a kinda big deal that this full feature length concert was recorded here at Van Andel Arena (like 10-15 minutes away from me), and was an official Crue release!:cool:
