It really is something V. Got to get to work on it, needs a little set up, nothing I can't handle.
Yeah, to be truly honest, that old school look of the Vintage really turns my crank. I hope it's all that.
Tom Foolery & the Donnybrook. ???It's a distinct possibility...The Sean Conneries is a Bond Girl spin-off (minus BG Cherie and plus Bruce on keys) and we play a "shuffle" mix of songs compared to primarily Bond and spy related songs - more rock and less lounge. Adding a female singer is in the works to further broaden our scope. A friend who speaks French pointed out that "conneries" roughly translates to "foolery", so Sean Foolery - which made me think of tomfoolery.., so I guess it fits!
origin of tomfoolery:
The term "Tom o' Bedlam" came from a very old poem and was used to describe beggars and vagrants who were (or pretended to be) mad. Foolery means acting the fool. 'Tom' is more than the shortening of Thomas - it was often used in the 16th century to indicate maleness (hence “tomcat”).

I got a stupid deal with the trade in on this one. Was 299, they dropped it to just above 200, traded the bolt on and was 130 out of pocket.
I'm still getting one of those Bad Birds.
My cousin got it for me as a gift, he said if you decide to trade, go for it.
He knew I would.
Nothing wrong with exchanging it if it's not quite the right fit.
The bolt on was a good bass no doubt, but this guy is a throaty animal.

Hah! I'd say good technique can make a box with rubber bands stitched over it sound good! So we probably have to leave out that when strictly taking about what makes an electric bass good!

Just getting a quick set up going, these 3 pointers are easy to work with so far. Still working on the intonation though, but I love how low I can get the action.
