Thunderbird Club

Wife says the correct number of Thunderbirds is N-1... With N = The current number of birds that I have...

She was NOT happy with my last purchase, so I won't buy more for quite a while... :(
Does she keep track of all your Thunderbirds? If not you could always say "That's not a new one, I've had it for a long time"

While I haven't had any blow-back on my TBird purchases, I had to do a self-eval after buying Dorothy the ruby red Epi. THAT was an impulse purchase and it just hangs on the wall as art next to my Alpine White Classic Pro. The difference being I actually play the Classic Pro.

And she was not happy about me purchasing these babies either:

Now, let the fun begin! :D

Ignoring the level of craftsmanship, I'd like to see a comparison on how the Lull T-Bird compares to the new Epiphone Thunderbird Vintage Pro tone-wise. If anyone is able to, I'd love to hear a sound clip of one of you guys playing some Nirvana, The Who or System of a Down with a freshly strung Thunderbird or Lull :roflmao:

That should've read wasn't not was and it was a nothing play. I got tripped and fell to the ice and my glove came off just as my buddy skated by. He didn't know he did it and I didn't feel a thing or know anything had happened until the blood poured to the ice.

The point of the story was the Dr. Hacker part to go along with the Dr. Slaughter from the other post.

The story kinda loses it's momentum, when it has to be explained... But good story, nevertheless... :)

The Vintage Pro isn't out yet.

Close... my index and ring finger still bare the scars, though barely visible, of the incident but didn't even require stitches. Odd that.

Had a similar thing happen to me too, but without the skating part - I nearly had the tip of my right thumb cut off in a car door (which was missing the rubber gasket).

I got dropped off and slammed the door on my finger - Fortunately I was fast enough to rip up the door before the driver drove off (with my thumb) and had him drive me to the ER, which was next door.

I walked into the ER myself dripping blood from the finger and pale as a sheet - Fortunately I didn't have to wait to get treatment as the staff knew me. I didn't get any stiches either but got an x-ray and had it plastered instead. Works fine now, but the nail looks a little wierd.

Won't work... She doesn't have track of all of them, but keeps counting the number of cases in the apartment, and knows there are more in the storage depot.

She doesn't know the exact number and frequently asks about it, and even thinks I don't know the number myself... :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

I just got that question - which one are you going to get rid of when the P-Bird is done? Um.... None of 'em....

Mind you, some of all the cases are guitars too... :)
