Thunderbird Club

That's not rugby. It's semi-organized mayhem, disguised as a sport because there's a ball around somewhere. One point for attempted murder, two points for successful murder. Bonus if it's especially gruesome and airborne, at the same time.

Like I said: Here we go again... :D

OK, no more descriptions of CT release surgery. How do you feel about eye surgery? ;)

*the vast majority of humans, even if they can stomach other surgeries have a very visceral reaction to eye injury/surgery.
I've had both lenses replaced. Interesting blurrily watching the pliers coming down on the eye. Looked like a birds beak.

I was thinking about focus correction surgery. I don't kow if it is Lasik or Lasek or whatever. A friend had that when he had a catract removed. He's from Texas and spent way too much time squinting into the sun. Anyway, he says he has one eye that's for close vision and one eye that's for distance vision. It seems to work for him, but I think both eyes the same would be better. I don't mind reading glasses.

The bliss of local anesthesia: You can feel they are doing things, but can't feel the pain... :D

yeah, that never really works as good as the Docs like to think........At least not in two instances for me.

My only half decent anesthetics story, when I had my wisdom teeth pulled, the anesthetics didn't fully kick in when they put the mouth spreader in and I heard it clicking into position. It was one of the weirdest moments of my life. Very shortly after that I hallucinated for a split second then passed out…

Pretty sure just before I passed out I heard the same voice and laugh as in the beginning of Anthrax - Madhouse :roflmao::roflmao:

Too far out in brown snake* country for me.

* World's number 2 deadliest snake -- fast, territorial, aggressive and loaded with neurotoxins.
And to think, it's probably only a two hour drive to the nearest hospital for treatment if you get bit, of course that's after you drive 20 miles to the nearest house to call an ambulance because there's no cell phone coverage where the accident actually happened. Ahhhh, the great outdoors, away from all the hustle and bustle of city life. :)

Yeah, I had a cataract in the left eye at approx 30 years after an accident damaged that eye. 'Boxers syndrome' or something similar, though my injury was from stopping a speeding tennis ball with my eye. I still have the glaucoma as a reminder.

We did the right eye after just to have a matched set.

I heartedly recommend the cataract surgery if anyone is in two minds about it.

There are other douche types that can get along with him, as long as everything is done his way it's fine. He does have the leverage of the quickly growing following and network of other bands that I contributed to, the name, the Facebook page, the upcoming gigs. He will attract players because we were the only real deal tribute in the area. He is always cool at first before revealing his true colors. All "manager" types are.

But now he has a little competition, if this lineup that is coming together can pull it off like I hope. And the support of the retired singer who WILL do cameos. With word going out about that, 2 former members plus members of an established tool tribute in San Diego, we should be able to make a splash and keep some of the old fans as well.
I'm north of LA (Ventura county) when you get your band up and running ping me and I'll attend (and bring others) if the venue isn't too far away (LA traffic is literally deadly after midnight, too many close calls, so I try to avoid it if I can).

That's what I have. Yeah, supposed to help avoid reading glasses over 40, which regular laser correction can't help. I'm 45 and so far so good.

Seconded!

Surgery in general too, please and thank you.
Or better yet...
