Thunderbird Club

It's a Greco Thunderbird II, I replaced the three point with a BadBird and one of Scott's bridge covers. It's a bit wider at the nut, I'll measure it later, it's probably as close to an original '60s Thunderbird II as I'll ever get, great RAWR tone!

one of my dream basses. I love that era's Japanese clones. Just wish they didn't get so expensive. Even from Japan, you have high shipping costs and the CITIES treaty to worry about

To @Dadagoboi @Larry V @Count Bassie @willsellout and anyone with Floridian interests... I think I speak for everyone here when I beg for your safety, and the safety of your friends and family. We're anxious to hear from you when you're able.

No power but no damage at the DW or Shop. Friends' house where I stayed had two very large limbs come down in yard, but no permanent damage. Just a pile of debris 25' long , 5 ' wide, and 4' high after we got done cleaning up with help from neighbor and chain saw. Hopefully power today, it got to within 1/4 mile yesterday.

Stealing a wifi signal from the closed library. Nice day today!

ATT SUCKS!

Oh... my mom made it ok. Her friend's house has the new high-impact glass, also pretty sound-proof, so it was like watching a big-screen tv.
Thanks for the moral support, all!

@LarryV, hope your mom & dad are ok. @Dadagoboi , sound off?

Glad to hear that your mom is doing well.

My parents have been on their generator since Sunday night while those across the street have had power but other than that, no flooding and no other real impact other than to their palm trees.

Thanks for asking!

Glad to hear everyone is alright! And no damage to your double wide and shop! @Dadagoboi

Canadian Weather News:
It's starting to get in the -20C's. People are putting their Moose away for the 4th season of winter and starting to take out their sled dogs. Igloo repairs are also taking place all around the 49th state known as Canada.
Ah, yes... winter #3 is my favorite Canadian time of year... or my favorite time of Canadian year...... whatever...

Well Im still underway on the ship. I grabbed my T bird, my pedals, and my records and brought them onboard with me. So they are all safe and sound. We haven't received clearance to go back to Key West yet so I only know that my house still has a roof. Not sure if there was any flooding though. From the satellite image we have, my yard looks good. No downed trees. Neighbors boat is trashed. He left it on the water and it's now upside down. But the family, including the bird, is safe and sound. Glad to hear everyone else is OK as well.

Good luck with the house! Of course what really counts is that you and your family are safe.

Ahhh the Winter #3, when it's -high-teens to -low twenties, hoodie and shorts kinda weather. Just nice enough to take the Polar bear out for ride a couple more times, if it's a really nice year you might even get to go out on the Walrus one last time.

Yeah... always fun to take the walrus for one last spin before hanging it back in the garage. Then, it's time to brush the dust off the narwhal & get it ready for the long season ahead.
