December I did. In terms of actual location yes, the edge of nowhere. As far as the Internet/phone/cable companies are concerned, the middle of nowhere.
It doesn't help that I'm about 400 feet from the next city, so I don't think those companies want to help a brother out that close to city limits.

Also... what's the deal with the claw tailpiece behind the 3 point? Is that how the first 3-points were done?

On the original two point design from the '60s the tailpiece is what retains the strings and was necessary. The Three Point never needed a tailpiece as it was designed.
Greco for some reason decided to use a tailpiece and a Three Point together when they made their Thunderbirds, Scott's BadBird was designed to utilize a tailpiece so he provides one that's very nice, quite faithful to the original Gibson.

Internet is binary - you exist or not. Sounds like internet providers have decided that you do not exist.

I've noticed that 3 point/tailpiece set up on other Grecos before. Just kinda wondered how they fit into the grand scheme of things...

I guess if we're all doing weather reports...

Just had a max wind speed of 75mph winds here in the U.K. overnight, but right now it's currently 20mph, but at least there was no rain. Partially cloudy with a max temperature of 14c and a minimum temperature of 9c with 72% humidity. It's fairly cold today, but luckily for me, I love the cold weather :D.
