Thunderbird Club

Well, I think it's time for @TBird1958 to have a re-initiation. I'm just the person to do it, now where's that riding crop?

Bring a Flip-Flop or Tennis Shoe, one that has a nice tread pattern so it leaves a nice mark on my you-know-what. Thanks.

I'm just going to leave #62 vacant for now, to much cosmic disturbance if I change it - I never claimed perfection folks!

Yes - I think that is correct. It'll sorta' be our 13th floor - better to change the subject if it ever comes up again... :) "#62?... how bout' that new Epi T-bird!"

Well if you think #62 is pretty vacant, please give me a number, any number ...

Ok, you're next, I'm still waking up on my day off, have some chores to take care and will bring the list forward. :)

To be both physically and mentally prepared?

2 thoughts...

1) I'm not sure this is even possible.
2) If it were even possible, the possibilities are far too disturbing to comprehend. You know, given our limited understanding of space - time, and the remote but frightening chance you actually are Leo 7ender. Or a cyborg crocodile.
3) If you were prepared there would be pictures.

I'm pretty sure about the pictures. And the cyborg crocodile. That would be frightening.

My greatest fear is Alligators. Crocodiles are number 2. Brain aneurism is number 3.

I'm such a miserable old bat -- I like my jazz acoustic.
We all have our flirts with purism. You either started with that purist streak, or you got it over time. Either way, as long as it happened without pretence, all's forgiven.

Esperanza Spalding usually plays a doghouse. Or used to anyway. I don't generally like vocal jazz, but for her, I can make an exception. The goofy thing is that I play blues bordering on jazz with a singer and sparse electric guitarist. So, what does that make my opinions about vocal jazz - hypocracy or just absolute lack of morals when it comes to being willing to play just about anythign anybody will let me play?

If you want to improve the chances of a reunion with your estranged former bass player, it's not advisable to write a book slagging them in gruesome detail.
I'll keep that in mind for the "we're only doing this for the money" tour. That's coming up, y'know. Those guys blew their opportunity pretty badly from the sounds of things.

My world has just ended.
Hey, I have two numbers in the Crappy Bass Players with Expensive Gear Club. Double duty is possible, so long as you fit the bill. The world doesn't have to end. Somebody needs to step up and buy about a dozen 'Birds and earn a second number. There's a solution to all problems, and that solution generally has an N+1 dog math component to it somewhere.

Yes I was wondering about the wisdom of using my first name here....
Too late to do anything about it now I guess
It just goes to show that even Leo can see the truth that Thunderbirds are the way to go. So, there you have it. It's not lack of wisdom, it's proof of wisdom.
