I can think of very cool things on guitar for that piece. Sort of in the vain of Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner. I super love it. And how could i forget, Mick Ronson.

Ah, true. The luthier doing the work said the tension will change because of the reversed headstock, but he said I may or may not notice a difference and that he could add a string tree if I needed. I figure I could also use different strings to compensate. If need be. Time will tell. Hopefully no more than another week or two.

Dude I dont believe you will encounter an issue with string tension, it will work out fine and I would be surprised if you have to make any tweaks at all regarding string tension. There is already enough tension in this world.

Damaged, but they've got the piece. A little glue, a little love, a little 'Birdie cousin to play with.

More aggressive than a Ric, seems. Maybe due to the pickup positions, but it's definitely its own sound: kind of muscular, got just a bit of a brittle element in there. Viable and listenable.

When I saw the word muscular witch I immediately interpreted to muscle car also reminded me of how I once described it somewhere to someone. It feels like and sounds like it has the natural characteristics of a more modern era muscle car. Like a 90's Camaro or Mustang, nothing at all like a 60's big block 454 or 455 Olds or 427 rat or the likeness of.

Hey guys,
I need a replacement bridge for my Epi. I dont want to get another 3 pointer. I want something that's black and is either a direct replacement or doesnt leave any of the holes from the previous bridge exposed. (And of course, it needs to work well)

What are my options?

My guy at Music Central in Hopkinsville, KY plugged the holes and put a top load bridge from a TB Pro on my Goth. Much easier when matching flat black paint but I'd have had it done if I'd had to repaint...which will probably happen anyway. I don't like the three point a t all, even though my backup TBIV still had one.

My vote is the Hipshot SuperTone. There’s also the Babicz.

Yeah light weight is a factor for me now as well. My current set up weighs less than 100lbs, all in. It is easy to carry and can be transported in a regular car.

That weight does not include the bass. The head and case weigh 28lbs. The 1x12 weighs 32lbs and the 2x12 weighs 44lbs. The head is rated at 500 watts.

Yeah I used to do the 4x10 & 1x15 or 1x18 plus a rack mounted head w/ effects, tuner etc.

I cracked 3 vertebrae in 2008 while sledding with my kids on a mountain vacation. Went to a podunk hospital and they said I was "fine".

Three weeks and lot of pain later,I went to a real hospital and they said I had cracked three of the lower vertebrae. I was told they would have normally done surgery and installed some screws and stuff but it was too late as they had started to heal on their own.

It took 2 years of yoga to get my strength and stability back. Now I do the TRX workout in my garage 3x a week to keep things in order.

I can lift the cabinets because I actually have more upper body and core strength than I did 10 years ago but I just realized that the gear has evolved and I can get the sound I need from lighter weight equipment. Hell the hardest thing for me to move around is the T-Bird itself in ridiculously oversized/overweight hard case.....
