Ummm............... I'm politely disagreeing.

Playing live through the course of 3 hours of music there are many instances in which I am quite happy I can turn the tone knob and easily get a discernibly different tone, going to the amp to twiddle knobs isn't an option I'd consider.

Totally understand. i'm just at home with the corner lot. I live in my on own world.

It's a weird site. Only place I've seen that not only sez 'this guy has a bass & it's for sale', or, 'this guy had a bass but it's been sold', but also, 'this guy has a bass... but it's not for sale'.

I took it at face value when it said' 'this guy has a bass and it's for sale'. Won't make that mistake again.

I got lucky when i got my 'Bird. TB'er takeout had it listed for several months without it selling, and was about to 'throw it on eBay' when I offered to buy it. Something brought everything together at the right moment. Destiny, karma, static cling...

Then a couple of hours later I was in a second hand DVD shop, thought 'I wonder...' and what was the first thing my eyes landed upon? Thin Lizzy Live at the Rainbow 1978. What are the chances?
