Went to a local show last night. No Bird sightings, but I have a new favorite live band. It was local boys Killing Grace's latest CD release party, so they headlined. Medicine Mann, who've been on the scene forever, opened the show and turned in another great performance. Then South Carolina's Kellen Heller came on. Holy cow are they good! I don't remember the last time I saw a band so professional and fun to watch. I watched them go about their business from the opening of the doors through closing the place, and learned quite a lot about how to handle being a live act...and just being cool, humble, great dudes.

What gig bag is that? I have yet to find a good bag for my TBird and the headstock pokes out the top about an inch and a half. Can anyone recommend a good bag?

That's the thing. There is nothing harsh and fizzy about their products. Yes, you can make them sound that way, but, from personal hands on experience, it's some of the best tones I've ever heard. Beautiful saturation and rich overtones is one way I'd describe it.

They sound harsh and fizzy in every demo I hear of them.

And I was going to say that twiddling knobs is best to be done in privacy but that logic is blown out the window if your familiar with GG Allin.

I hate that guy.
