Im just finding this out now.Isn't that the one that went up for sale?
I like the first six with Ozzy and then all four of the ones with Dio (five if you count Live Evil).I don't listen to much after Master of Reality, but the other day I put 13 on just for kicks, and it's a pretty good album.
I thought 13 was great........for a week. Hated Geezers sound, not Geezer like at all.I like the first six with Ozzy and then all four of the ones with Dio (five if you count Live Evil).
13 was okay, but I didn't like the mix on it, and for me, The Devil You Know was kind of hard to follow.

I think Bongo basses look awesome. I'd think about getting one if they weren't active. My friend has one. Fantastic playing bass. Can anybody tell me whynahell these friggin' Bongo basses are still in production... or for that matter... why they ever went into production??? Do they have mystic powers or sup'm? I mean... they're SO, like... cartoon fugly! Do they sound and/or play so well that people are willing to endure the ridicule? Is there a sufficient number of circus-themed novelty acts in the world, to actually support the product line? Please! ANYBODY... help me understand why there was ever any more than one of these things built, before I go to my grave!![]()
Thought his sound was more Geezer like on 13 than it was on Heaven & HellI thought 13 was great........for a week. Hated Geezers sound, not Geezer like at all.

Also, calling a bass ugly, especially to the degree you did, is against the rules on TB.
I initially thought that they were ugly and had the same toilet seat thought, but the look has grown on me a little. Not the back or white, but a bright yellow one would be cool.
In defence of @theFixer (really, I'm going to defend him on this? Yeah, it looks like I am) I think his intent was hyperbole. The Bongo is pretty much the exact opposite of a `Bird and I took the intent to be highlighting that the differences are stark and does not warrant discussion in the Thunderbird club. Of course, he is wrong about that; non fendery things are fair game and fendery things as well.
Or maybe he just really doesn't like the aesthetics.
Still. Not cool with bashing another bass that looks a little different.I initially thought that they were ugly and had the same toilet seat thought, but the look has grown on me a little. Not the back or white, but a bright yellow one would be cool.

His style is still Geezer but his Lakland with signature pups sound more hollow metallic than his old Fender with deep bottom end thump. Sounds more trendy than classic, Im not good with changeThought his sound was more Geezer like on 13 than it was on Heaven & Hell
As a gentleman would only do. You are a good man.I would only buy it to give back to her.
Well, I just think we all need to be "Institutionalized".

All he wanted was a friggin' Pepsi. Tom Araya walks by at 35 second mark, check out the sweet Gibson RD Artist?.
He used a pre-CBS P-bass for the recording. Or a Nash replica which is a HIGH quality replicaHis style is still Geezer but his Lakland with signature pups sound more hollow metallic than his old Fender with deep bottom end thump. Sounds more trendy than classic, Im not good with change![]()

Maybe just his settings that I dont like, not the same tone we are accustomed to hearing from him. That and the fact he no longer uses broken speakersHe used a pre-CBS P-bass for the recording. Or a Nash replica which is a HIGH quality replica
