The limited variety of available finishes, actually makes the decision pretty easy. You already have the sunburst, as stated. Black and white both go with anything & everything. They are (theoretically) identical in every other way... so your only real consideration is, stage presence. Black with chrome is more subtle & classy, while white really pops under stage lights, and is a bit more "Hey! Look at ME!". Since it has already been established that you need both... you just hafta figure out which one you need FIRST... sssoooo... "subtle & classy" vs. "Hey! Look at ME!".

I played something, (can't remember what right now), that had a synthetic ebonite board..... It was OK to play. Felt OK.
Looks - that's another matter, but then I'm not really all that bothered.... maple, rosewood, ebony..... I've got instruments with various 'boards. More interested in getting my hands on a Unicorn, (which is now the unofficial code-word for the Epi Vintage Pro T'Bird), and then consider all things together, fit, finish, frets, fretboard, low action possible????, choice of materials, whether it's possible to intonate the E string with that tune-o-matic bridge if I change guage of strings...... blah, blah, blah.... Not going to get hung-up on the fretboard material, pre-sale, in the way that I would if I were buying a really $$$$$$ instrument.

Does the T'Bird club have a translator on-hand? The batteries in the Universal Translator I purchased at the last Star Trek convention have run out and I'm not sure what language this nice chap is communicating in, (I don't think its Klingon), but I haven't got a clue what he's saying.....

I recall post 9/11 very clearly as I live in the flight path south of SeaTac, it was the only time it was ever quiet - eerily so.

11 September, or 12 September as it was in Australia -- I woke up, put the kettle on and checked the news on the computer. Then checked the date. Then checked the date again. I thought it was an April Fools Day joke. Then turned on the telly and it was horribly real.

I don't recall aircraft stopping then, as I think it was only flights to the US which were grounded, but there have been times flights stopped for volcanic activity in the past decade. That's what life sounded like 100 years ago.
