Flash fire. Didn't even know it had happened until my tech opened it up. No impressive pyrotechnics. And it was a recording session, not a show.It would be pretty badass to see a bass player playing live with their amp on fire.
Well I’m obviously the baby here… GET OFF MY CRIB AND BIB![]()

Update on my broken sounding cab. Since I lowered my pickups back down on my Bird I plugged in and cranked er up until stuff fell of the walls and other than the mess of objects laying on the floor Im pretty happy with how everything went. I plugged in my P (stands for Powerful) and was very happy with what I heard as well. Cab sounded great and the head sounded as it should so as of now I will except it as it were. On Friday our band practice gets loud enough for a 300 person venue so that will be the ultimate confirmation, as of now I dont see it being negative. Thanks for all of your suggestions

I raised my pickups the other night and is it possible that too high it can get a little boomy? I found it a little unpleasant.Mike, this is (although you'd be forgiven for forgetting it) the Thunderbird Club, therefore when people recommend you crank your pickups up as close to the strings as you can get, they are likely talking about delicate and refined Bird humbuckers (Lollars, Lulls, Thunderbuckers etc etc) and not the BEAST Sidewinder or Mudbucker found in EB-3s. Those things will bend gravity.
If only they offered it in the Heritage Cherry. I don't dig this one.So...2018 lefty is $2k from Sweetwater, 4-6 delivery. Hmm....this color kills! IDK, I hate the look of that bridge but... easily changed. Thinking, thinking, thinkingView attachment 2819470
Push down on the last fret, if the strings touch the pups, it’s too high.I raised my pickups the other night and is it possible that too high it can get a little boomy? I found it a little unpleasant.
That's what I like, the bold color otherwise I wouldn't be too concerned. If only they offered it in the Heritage Cherry. I don't dig this one.
