Waiting for a cyclone to pass us by tomorrow. Should cross the coast a ways north of us early tomorrow as a Cat 3 and will continue down this way during the day and evening. Hopefully it will have lost some puff by the it get's down to us.
They are predicting 300- 500 mm of rain for us over the next 24- 36 hours in any case. Wind strength here will depend on what it actually does.

Hell, I'm still 18...... in my mind!:) .... the rest of my body, including my shoulder?,...... um, not so much!:eyebrow:

And about SVT's, stopped using those at about 23. Now, you'll find me rockin' a tiny Acoustic Image w/a single 10" speaker, often on upright, in a darkened orchestra pit for some musical, that I've probably played at least a few times before.:help:

My TBird? When I play on that?....... yeah, I'm 18..... all over again!:bassist:

Yes, I am 57. When I play in the band with my son (who is 22) it is great, except for the loading in and out and the stiff back the next day. But worth it.

Sorry didn't make it clear- my son pulls his weight loading in and out.

Not good....

Dont forget to secure your T-birds in their cases and chain them to something solid, so they don't fly away by the time the cyclone hits your house! ;)

be safe man! living in texas, we have tornadoes ALL the time. they can be super dangerous, although some of us are kind of used to them in the way that some are to earthquakes, i guess. remember, basses can be replaced, people can't!

Do you have the model number for that, I might be interested. Still looking for an affordable gigbag for my TBird. I've bought two so far that I was told by a salesperson would fit a TBird but they didn't.

Keep in mind that New England is equipped to deal with that kind of snow. It happens almost every year. We only get a few inches all winter here. The infrastructure to handle a foot (and more this weekend) doesn't exist here. This is WAY out of the ordinary for us.

yeah, if a foot of snow happened in texas, it would be a miniature apocalypse!
