PA is a great little town, we love going there, it's so beautiful and playing is super fun, they don't get a lot of bands so a good turnout happens often - People there really take drinking to a new level!

We're in Pt.Angeles, Wa in May, catch the ferry at Tsawwassen to Vancouver Is., then the Blackball from Victoria - spend the night in PA at the Red Lion, all within about 3 blocks of the ferry dock, you can leave the car in B.C.

Sadly it's gone. It was a very wild place, for a while on Thursdays they were doing a really good weekly show with Burning Hearts Burlesque, this was early one for us as a band. We knew several of the girls and managed to get to play one Thursday, it was kind of our breakout performance as there were some folks in the crowd that night that later got us into some great gigs. Anyway, I know this shot is when we were playing "I love Rock n Roll" some of the girls came out and danced and sang with us - what a frickenn trip! Backstage was fun too, Burlesque girls have few qualms about removing clothing in front of strangers.........

Thanks Mark, nothing too strange when it comes to storage just in its case or out on a stand. I bought the bass new unseen and it hadn't been set up at all, so much so I could turn the truss rod using my fingers!!! I set it up myself and it's been fine except for these regular adjustments. I wondered if it was maybe the heavier gauge strings (Dean Markley 110-50) that might be impacting it - but on the basis that it doesn't sound like a regular issue with T'birds I think I will take it for a full check over and set up.

I tried this Thunderbird, and there was no reason to not acquire it. I love it, it plays so great. The Jazz, and Precision stayed at the store, and the Thunderbird came home with me.

I dunno, you guys are pretty chatty - The list was way back on page 256!

My old band Birmingham 6 were signed to Cleopatra Records in LA back in the '90's, and we were supposed to go on a small US tour to promote our 2nd album...

We had our first US gig at the Fenix in january '97...

Absolute great venue with an amazing soundsystem, as I recall...

Unfortunately the tour went downhill from there, and had to be cut short after only 4 gigs...

We had our first US gig at the Fenix in january '97...

Unfortunately the tour went downhill from there, and had to be cut short after only 4 gigs...

Although we are a pretty chatty bunch, we don't have the crown - THAT should probably go the the Spector Owners Club. THOSE guys are just silly crazy chaty. I've found if I don't keep up for a day, there is an additional four pages to go through...

not that it's a competition, but the big board breeders club in the effects forum can keep up with just about anybody where chattiness is concerned. just sayin'!

Been putting together a small board. The board wasn't too bad- the pedals are worse.
Ordered my last (I promise) pedal for my little Pedaltrain Mini online today- an MXR M83 Chorus. Should be a fortnight from the States (considerably cheaper than buying in Australia even with the $AU at 78c).
It will fit nicely with the MXR M87 Compressor, the EHX Big Muff Pi Bass deluxe and the GK footswitch for my GK Fusion 550. Volto mounted underneath.
Love how neat it all is.
I have the Fusion mounted in a 8 RU SKB with a Petersen Stroborack- I thought I better leave plenty of ventilation room around the amp.

Why not build one yourself? That's what me and my other multi-instrumental friend did for his guitar pedal board (was flipping huge cause he had like 25 pedals on it!!) So we laid all the pedals out and how they'd be connected, and we built from there with one huge piece of plywood some crner brackets and screws from rona across the street from our old jam space. It worked, we painted it black but he no longer has it since his guitarist left it in a studio down here when they didn't renew the monthly rent. It's better to build yourself, rather than spend big money on something that's used to hold pedals. my 2 cents.

Good luck with your therapy Mark. I'm looking at possible shoulder surgery, (I have 3 partially torn tendons in my right shoulder) If I do have the surgery, I'll probably have to put down my TBird and get back into 1/35 scale military modeling.

Is that from shoveling snow Tom? Winter has been brutal on us New Englanders this month. One of the guitarists in my band might be staring at some shoulder surgery as well. Wish you well.
