Thunderbird Club

Too many basses? Never suffered from that, myself :)

It’s embarrassing how much time I’ve spent on the Cataldo site, hand wringing over various options. All I have worked out so far is one of em will be single pickup, one volume knob, no tone. Fairly sure it’ll be a reverse. Color options are a whole other problem!

Picking a colour was my problem too. Well, pick two colours, one for the reverse and another for the non-reverse.

I’ve got an idea in my head of what I want...now to decide if that idea is best left inside my head or not :)
The answer is not. It must be realized. As Kat pointed out, we are here to enable. It's a noble purpose, and it's one we take seriously. That and not going there because it's where we started and never left. Ehem.

From Carlo, and the thought does cross my mind.

Like the NYC contingent, space is limited here and him indoors doesn't really approve of one, let alone more than one ... and more than three would be asking for divorce. Not sure why he's allowed 20 pairs of vintage sunglasses and I get wrong for basses, but there you go.

Ouch. I think a house rule needs to be made of a ratio of vintage_sunglasses:basses.

Tell him indoors your much older evil twin will show up and eat his sunglasses if one more bass guitar is an issue. We are here to enable, after all.

Mmmm! Sunglasses. With a good chanti and some fava beans! I don't like liver at all. Just sunglasses.

There's also a matter of "some guys" that Jeff knows.

You also have a Chechen friend here in NY that is just hankering for a new assignment.
EDIT; Thanks @BklynKen for the honorable mention.

He sounds like the most evil, horrible person who has ever lived :)

Wall hangers? Or just keeping them in a corner in cases when not in use?

I like all my instruments out where I can see em. The bigger point is Kat needs more ‘Birds. It’s not like they live in some Third World prison where you’re only allowed to bring 2-3 basses in with you. This is madness. I need a nap

For the record, I might’ve neglected to tell the girl I bought a new bass. Then she saw me playing one she didn’t recognize at a gig...oops

Thank goodness she was cool about it. Not that I was scared or nothing. I wasn’t. Not at all. Not one bit

We'd need a wall for wall hangers. Two walls are covered with bookcases, the third is a wardrobe and the fourth is the window/desk/amp side ... and in this climate, in the hottest, most humid room in the apartment, basses need to live in cases.

I had three until I sold the Maranello.

Ouch!

I burned all my fancy learnin’ books to make room for more basses

Neat looking bass!
