Jimbo Wallace is the bass player. Cool dude, great player. RHH have quite a few really strong records. The Rev himself played guitar on one of our records. Amazing guitar player!
We call that the polar bear swim here. It's a refreshing dip in a Great Lake in the middle of winter. The Dr. know what I'm talking about.
Yup. Around here it's usually in the local creek. But I'm not polar bear enough for that!

A 'Bird with f-holes? That's just flat great! You gotta figure out how to get pictures of it.
"Earworm". The first thing that leaped to mind at the mere mention of the word:
I have a hunch that I'm the only person in this club, and probably in the world that this song earworms. It's a "heavily stylized" version of an old Blues standard written by Willie Dixon & recorded first, by Muddy Waters in 1954. This version from Humble Pie's "Performance: Rockin' the Fillmore", captures a really cool live thing the guys in the band would frequently do to f**k with Steve Marriott, according to Jerry Shirley (the drummer). They knew that Marriott delivered his best performances when he was emotionally charged in some way. They would intentionally do things to piss him off crack him up, or whatever they could. The first couple minutes of the track are spent with Marriott sorta singing an intro to the song (as he pretty much always did at the time) that Jerry's was supposed to cue in on, & start the rhythm for the song. Well... Jerry keeps not starting the song when he's supposed to, which leaves Marriott holding the bag! When Jerry felt like Steve had finally had enough... he kicks into the rhythm for a few bars before the band kicks down the door with their simple, massive riff (driven into your gut with a flat-strung P-bass through a couple of ACC 360 rigs!). Something about that riff (whether in spite of, or due to it's simplicity), just grabs ahold of me & won't let go! I've had this song lodged between my ears for days at a time! The entire album does such an awesome job of capturing you & pulling you in. There's just this heavy vibe to the whole thing! If you crank it up & let yourself go with the music... you can easily float back in time to what it musta been like to have been there at the show. Hell... if you're listening to it on vinyl, you can even smell the stale cigarettes & weed in the air! Give it a listen! I don't expect anybody to like it as much as I do, but I know some of you ol' fuggerz (like me) will LOVE it!
