I woke up at 6am and was furious with myself. Being up at 6am is only punk rock if you haven’t made it to bed yet. Getting old sucks![]()
Man do I know that feeling. I'm up early cause I have to be. Long story. Family stuff.

Mines still asleep and I’m jealous of her. Typically, I’m halfway through my first cup before it occurs to me that I somehow got up and made coffee![]()
I'm up 6 days a week at 4:30-4:45 AM. In my cubicle and logged in by 6 AM... YEAH ME! I bet you're all jealous.
I can't believe I've been doing this for 30 plus years already.
I don't know how to make coffee in my own home... she freshly grinds it and spoons in the proper amount the night before and sets the auto timer.
I'd honestly have to ask her for help if I were to make it for myself. I'm certain I could handle it after that but I haven't had a reason to look into it as of yet.
French press and 5 scoops of dark roast. I’m so slow to wake up in the mornings, anything more complex than that would just be way too much pressure
I make my own coffee and take out the trash. The girl does pretty much everything else. I can see the look of panic on her face when I attempt to make my own meal
My favorite: "Thunderbirds are dull sounding and muddy at times" later IN THE SAME POST: "I play a P bass with some old, broken in flats"Man, any of you ever roam outside of this club on TB? I don’t think I recommend it. Some of the most tragically desperate and heated debates about such riveting topics as...
“2 ohms allows the bass to open up.”
“Actually, it’s 2.67 ohms.”
“Well, in this case it’s really 2.668 ohms, so do your math before spreading such lies!”
“My $12,000,000 7 string gives me that 2 ohm feel even at 2.668 ohms.”
“I tried that same bass, but my $49 bobbyboo plays and feels way better”
And so on...

I am a big Slade fan! I even had a replica of Jim Lea's bass built by John Diggens of Jaydee guitars. John built Jim's bass while working at John Birch. John got Jim to put up his bass as a pattern for my bass, Jim even autographed it for me.Fun fact - i’m From Walsall, the same place as Noddy Holder. In about 2000, the council got a huge lottery grant to build a fantastic new art gallery, and in order to celebrate local talent, they had Noddy record the voice for the lift!
Same guy that made Tony Iommi's SG, around the same time too!I am a big Slade fan! I even had a replica of Jim Lea's bass built by John Diggens of Jaydee guitars. John built Jim's bass while working at John Birch. John got Jim to put up his bass as a pattern. View attachment 2845039

She may be of Scotch descent though her family name would say otherwise.![]()
Careful, you may be filing Kat with that...

I kid, I kid... but come on, this surely isn't news to her.
