A really awesome drink that makes me talk funny
Ah yes... the "General Population" (AKA - GenPop or GP). Yes... we're aware, and yes... it makes most of us appreciate what we have here, even more!
I made the decision several years ago that life is too short to drink bad coffee. So, I threw out all the instant coffee. At home I only drink French press or espresso.
When out, I will settle for Starbucks. But I absolutely refuse to drink the swill Tim Hortons tries to pass off as coffee.
Tim Hortons coffee shows that most Canadians know nothing about coffee.
I don't drink coffee, but I know some people that believe Tim's coffee has cocaine or something in it

The main thing for me is, if someone posts a thread saying how much they love P basses, let’s just say... people have to jump in to say how much they suck right before admitting they’ve never owned one. I see way more basses I don’t like than basses I do like on TB. So I look at stuff I do like or might come to like. I simply don’t respond on threads only to say something sucks. I dunno what I’m trying to say other than the silly negativity is a real drag.
I make cabs for all kinds of folks. Some play basses I wouldn’t personally want in styles I don’t personally care for. But, it’s way more fun to look into why they like what they like than to dismiss it just because it ain’t my bag

The Gen Pop shows that bass players are just like other people. They hold unwavering opinions that are not based on fact and will deny evidence contrary to their opinion.
I make the distinction: faith is opinion that is immune to facts. Science is the search for evidence that counters held opinion.
I stay away from the faith threads.
And speaking of Scotch, as a drink.

I'll take your word for it... never developed the taste for Scotch. Vodkas and Rums are where I go when I'm not drinking Pilseners.

Scotch aside from my own bad behavior is responsible for the second worst hangover of my life. I did however have fun . It ended with a bridesmaid on the beach, I'll let your imagination fill in the details.
Nothing against a P bass with flats or anyone who plays one, if it works in your context Im happy for you, I just find people how say that that is the best tone there is but also claim TBirds to be dull to be ironic in a very annoying wayCan I say again that I adore my Thunderbird, nothing comes close at all and I have P bass with flats haha, and I come here to this thread because I feel safe.
