Nothing against a P bass with flats or anyone who plays one, if it works in your context Im happy for you, I just find people how say that that is the best tone there is but also claim TBirds to be dull to be ironic in a very annoying way

I have a lot of words to describe my T Bird, but dull ain’t one of em

Scotch aside from my own bad behavior is responsible for the second worst hangover of my life. I did however have fun . It ended with a bridesmaid on the beach, I'll let your imagination fill in the details.

Being a new owner, these things are still kind of a revelation to me. Spent time playing all of my basses this morning and kept going back to my T Bird. It suits me and I cannot believe how long I waited to finally get one

Thanks! I got a lot of compliments on the Thunderbird last night. It was also my first time playing it through my main rig, "The Beast", and it sounded awesome.

What bass are you considering adding the Lollars to?

I'll take your word for it... never developed the taste for Scotch. Vodkas and Rums are where I go when I'm not drinking Pilseners.

That just means you haven't drank enough Scotch to develop the taste

Blue definitely isn't my first choice for Canadian beers, but it is also far from the last. Sleeman's or Moosehead would be first. Pilsner, pale lager, close enough for me

I guess it depends on how much you love the bass you already have. I would love to get Lollars installed in a bass, but have no plans to mod my Gibson as I love it for what it is

I slept in a bathtub after a bottle of Johnnie Walker Red Label, unfortunately, unlike your story, I was by myself. Probably ranks third on my hangover list

That is what I did. I like them so much I bought a second set but then sold them to @JJR58 for his Epi conversion. I prefer not to have too much stuff, so one set up they way I want is more than two or three that are slightly different.

Your first choices are middle choices for me. I'm quite partial to Headstock from Nickelbrook (my local brew), anything from Flying Monkeys, Sidelaunch Pale Ale (the CEO there is a friend), most of the Great Lakes beers, most of the Sawdust City beers, etc.

I have a 2012 gold anniversary bird and to be honest my new Eppi Ebony VP plays and sounds better. I'd go with the VP purchase then look long and hard for a good deal on Lollars if you still feel you need them.

Ironically Nickelbrook is at the bottom of my list. That’s one beer that I will turn away.
