Merry Christmas everybody!
The weather in Sydney is much cooler today. My place is currently 20c with a promised max of 24c.

I’m cooking a rolled pork loin on the Weber, my wife is doing everything else in the kitchen.

Been supervising the Weber with a nice cold Coopers and enjoying a pair of Willie Wagtails that have visited the yard a few times so far. Love these birds they always seem happy.

Just put a 3kg leg of lamb in the oven ... we'll still be eating it come Wednesday Friday.

All the techies come back in january. That's what's wrong with it. They leave in late december, giving those of us who are actually from the area a nice little time when we can enjoy it being a bit more the way it used to be.

Same for NYC. This week should be nice any empty.

Side note. A fun tradition at the Feelgoood212 house, that usually takes place Christmas eve here. You write five things you want for Christmas, on Christmas (Eve), you try to guess the present.... if you guess wrong.... you take a shot of whiskey. After 3 guesses you get to open it. It gets really interesting, really fast. This year was screwy cause none of us really asked for anything, and for the most part just bought our own gifts then had someone else wrap it, or it was just something we didn't ask for. (EDIT: we are not big drinkers [anymore] either, excluding a beer or glass of wine once in awhile, that last time any of us really drank was at a wedding in October, so it doesn't take much to get interesting)

It's so cold that it's NOT raining here in Portland, either!

Because he came across as a piece of crap for handling it the way he did. It bore exploration. Perhaps they spent a little too much time on it, but it was important.

There are a couple of threads about that movie on here. (One that I started.) Some interesting replies, but a lot look at both sides of the coin. Some fascinating stories either way about life in the upper echelons of music.

A little snow in the side yard, the flat spot is usually where I have a table set up in the Spring/Summer for all those nice beer drinking pics.......

First, I would like to take a moment and wish all of you the very best for Christmas, hopefully it's a time to be with your families and all the people in your life that you love. It's a true pleasure to know you all through our common love for Thunderbird basses, that we can find civility and be good to each other while chiming in from all over the world says so much about you all. Thanks for making it such a great place!
