He was so awesome and I let him know!

So once I restore the Sunn 6x12 and 2x15 I have in progress, adding in the new 4x12s, I'll have roughly...47.72 sq ft of speaker surface area, if I got the measurements correct.

What are you gonna do for the big gigs?

I don't suppose you'd consider parting with one?
Possibly, but they are currently up in Washington.

Also working on a bit of a challenge this evening. These are some serious right hand endurance. I need to work on that, I've realized I rely on a lot of hammer ons and pull offs, which means my left hand is pretty limber, but my right can get a bit tired out doing something fast and pumping like these two.

Yikes! That's not a wall of sound, it's a mountain! Love to see the look on your soundmans face when your roadies get it all assembled on stage. Is that a total of ten 12's and two 15's? If so, seems you're a bit shy in the 18 department. ;)

That's 2 4x12s, 1 6x12, 4 2x15s, 2 1x15s, so 14 12"s, 10 15"s, driven by 2 Sunn 2000s, 1 Sunn 1200s, 1 Sunn 200s, and 1 Marshall JTM 45/100. A mountain indeed.

Now if I could just get my hands on a Marshall Major...

I don't see many Sunn 18s come up. Also I'm pretty sure D.M.N. has more than two 15"s.

Here is a shot from when I first opened it up. I only got to spend about 20 or so minutes with it but so far I am impressed! The fit and finish is flawless and not a sharp fret end on it at all. One thing I noticed is that the body edge seems to be more rounded than on my Gibson's, which is nice. The neck is thicker front to back as others have mentioned, but not uncomfortable at all. I like the sound so far but have not really done much with it. It sounded good thru the Ampeg SVT3Pro and Genz Benz Streamliner 900 but I want to do further tweaking on the amp settings. I compared it to my beloved 2001 Bird and they do not sound the same. They sound similar but the Epi seems brighter and more "open" for lack of a better word. Looking forward to putting it thru its paces.

Please ignore the mess in the background.

Announcement

I have two Thunderbirds, and amp and cab I love and all the signal modification equipment I need or desire. There is no new Thunderbird on the horizon for months (funds still need to be accumulated).

So, until such time as a shiny white Thunderbird II arrives, I will be spouting complete and total bollox.

Apologies in advance.
Would it be inappropriate for me to compliment you on your bollox?:woot::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::woot::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
