OT.
Well, I saw the ‘All you need is Love’ show on 1/1/18 (read that US style if you wish)... and absolutely loved it, besotted maybe.

The little Orchestra turned songs that I always found a bit meh, into wonders. There is something to seeing 6+ violinists sawing away in unison. :)

Hearing Penny Lane with a live Piccolo Trumpet solo... wow!

30 songs, 2 hours, Sydney Opera House... can’t wait to go back next year!

4 singers plus 2 others for backing, incidentals. 2 Guitars, plus upto an extra 2 at times. Bassist was Tony Mitchell of ‘70s Sydney group Sherbert (aka The Sherbs, and Highway in o/s markets). He played a Stingray 90% of the time, but used a Hofner violin bass on a couple. I heard the Hofner move clearly, it took my attention.

One of the guitarists used a Coral electric Sitar on ‘Norwegian Wood’. Sounded great.

Edit: I even bought a Tshirt

Hey y'all. Sorry I missed the big mile marker. I really wanted to be here, but I finally get my Christmas with my girls tomorrow:D. I had a lot to do & I'm movin' slower than a bowl full of asparagus at a children's banquet cuzza some stupid back spasms:rollno: It's always so {oohhh... I'll go with} "interesting", how these things all seem to come at the same time :meh:

Also working on a bit of a challenge this evening. These are some serious right hand endurance. I need to work on that, I've realized I rely on a lot of hammer ons and pull offs, which means my left hand is pretty limber, but my right can get a bit tired out doing something fast and pumping like these two.

My "big" PA has two 1970s Acoustic Control mains which have 4 front firing 15s each. I had a 408 cabinet that had four more, a 360 with an 18, and a new 360 with a 15. I was thinking about how to link that up to make it all a single, enormous stack for bass. It never happened, but it made for amusing daydreams.

If you want them to play sequentially, you should put them all in one track in the order you want them witth the appropriate amount of silence between them - Like this it won't matter what tempo you are running GB.

If you try Toast Titanium: You set it up to burn an audio CD and it will automatically default to a 2 sec. interval between the songs (this is adjustable for crossfades). You won't need to burn a CD when you're done, as it can save it to a disc image, which you can mount and play on the Mac in iTunes...

Urgh... Can't even imagine the combined weight of those...

I remember my 4x12 Marshall's were quite heavy, and it was a PITA to mount the slanted cabinet on top of the other by oneself...
