Thunderbird Club

Well, to continue to pollute the airwaves with random stuff, but this time about music: bass player from the band I play drums in announced that he was moving to Canada next month. Our show on the 18th will be the farewell tour. My brother is a potential new bass player for the band. He lives half a block away and is a very good bass player. He also plays a Jazz. Hmmm....

And, I just finished making the music room into a rat's nest of wiring for recording the Shameless Pillars of Society tonight. That's the band that started out as a rockabilly band and is now God knows what. It's the only way to be. Confused and confusing. Maybe someday we will have something worth hearing recorded. Kat will have another Swamp Ikea package sooner, most likely.

Cool that your bro will be in the band.

I gotta hear some of that rockabilly meets god knows what!

He hasn't said he will do it yet. I'm sure hoping. He's been on a pedal breeding, odd noise making, synth kind of kick lately. We are more of a garage band full of energy and drool. It will be an interesting combination if it works. OK, now I really do have other stuff to do!

Me too!

You haven’t a ‘Bird to loan your brother?

Been a while.

Band kinda taking off, goth finally sold so im down to n=1 and content because of all my other toys (Peavey's mainly right now).

My punk rock beat up 93 fury (p bass) has been my backup and haven't used it live yet (other than stage candy)

I am considering putting my late 90s VFL (soap bar appearance SC high output) foundation as backup instead, since it is a 2 pickup bass, and I hate the chipped up bright red finish so I could cover it with former band stickers and other black and white stickers.

Eventually #2 will be a Warwick streamer :) gotta keep current.

Out with the wife for some live local music and we have a Thunderbird sighting! Hell yeah!!!
