Thunderbird Club

It's 19.55 in Blighty, work should be over for the day. Rock on.

Just started heating up the shop for what some might consider work. Don’t seem like work. Just goofin around on fun projects. Got a bunch of cabs to get done, but the weather ain’t been my friend, even with heaters in the shop, too much cold air drifting around can make things dicey.

It'll come sooner than you think. Years blow by at an alarming rate once you hit 50.
Years blowing by doesn't mean retirement is coming. Just saying. I'm there with Mark - retirement will mean a box. Or, maybe a launch into the ocean by trebuchet. That seems more fitting and doesn't take up otherwise useful land. No cannon. I'm not Hunter Thompson.

No steady reggae gig this summer, bagged out of the Newport hotel weekends. Just too much of a grind, I always go home too tired, hungry and broke- we don't get paid till a day or so later. Bandleader was disappointed, but you gotta have heart for what you do. So I'm looking for a steady gig now. Kinda hope I run into something more in the rock n roll vein...

Squirrel suit and a Cessna, shooting some hole in a rock. Hell, maybe I'll make it!?

Then what am I gonna do...

For what I play they tend to give me the growl I like. Currently one of my main players is a Spectorbird with EMGs and a custom preamp. Was thinking of doing a mod to an Epi-bird so they sound similar.

Ok, got it. Thunderbuckers are a good choice as well. But passive.
Which Epi do you have?

These guys give me inspiration. Needs to find me a gig as well.
