Thunderbird Club

I'd have taken this in a different direction.

Ya' see, @KingFace has heard tales of the power that these 7 TBirds have when reunited and how that power will transfer to the man that can put the 7 back together.

This pursuit take him to all corners of the Globe and the movie shows the success and struggle to realize his dream.
Ya see? I'm just not as good at this stuff as you guys. I woulda gone with a musical about a father & his six sons... all bass players who lived in the woods outside a small logging town in the mountains. The story would be about the father going on a journey to find a new bass. When he comes home with a Thunderbird... the sons all decide they want Thunderbirds too. The working title is "Seven 'birds for Seven Brothers". (still got a few kinks to work out...)

Oooh...I like this.

My pal, Brian, who plays guitar for Bad Religion, and who has been instrumental in keeping me on this quest in spite of myself (back when I only had two, he (and his bass player, Jay) chided me weekly with, "Dude, you realize you HAVE to get all 7 now!"). He suggested a documentary. You know, traveling around the globe, looking for the seventh...hoping there's not more....discovering there's more...falling into deep depression, with lots of shots of me at bars with a glass of scotch, and a thousand-yard stare on my face, mumbling, "Why?....Why did I ever think this was a good idea?"
I have only 2 wurdz for ya... TOTALLY WERTHIT;)

I'm home with a sick kid today and these plots for a 7 'Birds flick are making my day! My daughter keeps looking at me, wondering why I'm chuckling out loud. :D
It's truly sad that you weren't around for the epic saga known as "Sloved Dovewing... P.I.". It was a noir piece about a 1940's private investigator with a haggard white TB II, who attracted damsels in distress like a tiara attracts debutants. The story had everything from seedy speakeasies to alien abduction. Alas... the story was only recorded in this forum, and sprinkled throughout a hundred different pages, never to be reassembled:(

Sounds like an instant classic that appealed to a wide demographic.

And I missed it!

NOOOOO! :banghead:

A twist within a twist. Think about it

I typically don't like my things that twisty (tends to make my eyes wide)

Upright bass ruined my hand modeling career

Therein lies a movie all it's own. A dramatic piece about a budding young hand model with a promising career ahead, who's forced to take a job playing bass, just to make ends meet. The rigors of the job take their toll on the once flawless, supple hands that graced the ends of those arms, and our "model" must now cope with a life of seedy back-alley bars and rough & tumble roadhouses;)
