I still haven't had a smoke since I found a melanoma on the back of my head last year. Must be 9 months or more now.
The doctors reckon my skin graft's success was helped a lot by giving up the smokes. I know my bank balance is healthier.
I don't want to contemplate what it would have been like if the graft had failed.
They took a 3 inch circle of scalp off the back of my head and went in over half an inch deep- so the graft is a considerable size. Big, clear margins are really important, I believe.
Funny thing (yeah...ha...fning ha....) is I had long hair for over forty years- so the area where it grew wouldn't have been sunburnt since I was a child.
Anyway, I was damn lucky I found it by touch and insisted that it be biopsied. It was a largely unpigmented one and the specialist dismissed it initially.
One thing with smoking I didn't realise is how long the irritation of your throat can take to go fully away. I did smoke for decades, though.
I would NEVER touch his salami!!! I mean... ya know... I saw it... but I didn't really... ya know... look "AT" it. I mean... EVERYBODY "saw" it... right guys??? It was right there on the computer screen, wasn't it guys... and EVERYBODY saw it... not just me!Leave his salami alone!!!!, uh oh, did i say what i just said......... YUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
why they stop making the Gibson? Ive always wanted to own one.
Mark, this is my anthem for tonight, It's calling for an REV42, for you.
Speak for yourself. I'm always Very Serious (TM).We are only messing about.
Yes it does look nice.
I finally listened to it with headphones. I like 'em both, but the Thunderbucker is outstanding. It has a crispness the Gibson pickup doesn't have, even a 2002 which is close enough to the 2001 that it's got to be close to the same. I'm impressed. Again. Thanks Duke, that’s really good of you. For the record... I like them both.

For Rick 'MadDog' Madigan.
Clem was playing with Dramarama for a while. I love them. What a great track! Early Blondie was so great. Clem Burke has to be one of the most underrated drummers in the world. And Debbie Harry gave me strange tingly feelings as a young man
Huh?why they stop making the Gibson? Ive always wanted to own one.
None of this REV41, and that is exactly the one!!!!

And so began the Great Thunderbird Schism of 2018. Unable to resolve their differences, the two parties retired to their armed encampments and made ready for a pitiless stuggle, no quarter to be given, until only one should remain standing upon the field.
Homestly, I step out for a bit of scheduled barnet maintenance, and look what happens while I'm gone!

Me too! The next year I saw what was considered their last show ever, at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ. They had technically already broken up, but did that last show. Not sure if Clem was with them. Great show, though it was in July during a heat wave and the AC was broken, so it was over 100°F in there. They had a thermometer on stage.I saw Clem play with them! Really good band, I’d sorta forgotten
Are those 60's Gibson pickups on that pic? I ask because of the screws on the covers and because I have an opportunity to buy a set that look just like that.
I prefer my cabs to sound like me!
I have no self control.
