Looks pretty nice! No mention of a case and $120 shipping is a bit rough. Is that tone knob mismatched?

I only read the OP before turning away. It was just too sad. I don't know if it's actually attainable or not. SOMEBODY needs to rescue that poor thing...

For sure! Not sure what a fair price would be. Doesn’t seem outrageous as it is. I’ve already ordered a bridge and tuners. Once I decide on pickups, one of my Gibson’s will be very similar except I think I’ll skip the rings
Hard to say, Ebony board is sort of rare. Nice pup's and bridge..................
If no case, bet the seller might come down a bit. But i'd be concerned about shipping.
The seller said that the bass toured. Maybe he had a flight case for it and ditched the OHSC. Without the OHSC, I'd expect it to ship for a lot less and for the price to be at least $200 less as well.
Agreed, A good packing job would be about $40, and shipping, (to me at least, not that i can do it), would be 60ish?

Not totally sure. I know a few friends feel they get the best results by offering ‘free’ shipping. Just pad the sale price accordingly. I’m not sure if that works out better or not though

Neither, yet! I’ve just ordered the bridge and tuners. Still undecided on pickups.i quite like the stock Gibson’s, so one bass will keep those. I also really like the TB ‘63 in my Cataldo. I intend to do a session with it before swapping to the ‘66, so I can get a good comparison between the two. Once I’ve done that, I’ll decide which stays in the Cataldo. It’ll definitely be one of those Thunderbuckers though. That may inform which way to go on the Gibson, but I’m also dying to try the Lollars in my Gibson
