I was attempting to swap the bridge for the supertone but the screws supplied with the bridge were really tight when I tried to screw it down. I didn't want to force it. Has anyone else came up against this?

Can you use the screws from the original 3 point bridge?

Forgive me for sounding dumb but what's the difference??
Did you try all four bolts? They look very similar but only two will fit in the best case scenario. If you forced a wrong size bolt it's possible you damaged the threads of an anchor. Newer birds use an M8 thread bolt.

Already done just awaiting their reply. Should the screws be a different size?

In my experience the customer service at Hipshot is excellent. I bought a Bass Xtender from them in the mid '90s, then a few years later when I sold the bass I took it off and put the Xtender away in a ziploc bag in my parts drawer. 15 years later I went to put it on a bass and the middle screw that holds the whole thing together was missing. I emailed Hipshot and asked if I could buy one because I lost it and they sent me one for free! Really cool considering it was my fault.

So here's why Electro Harmonix kicks ass: my original Bass Soul Food worked for a couple weeks and then developed a problem. The true bypass worked perfectly, but clicking on the pedal caused loss of signal and the only sound coming out was crackly distortion at very low volume. I took it back to the shop I bought it from, who sent it back and got a brand new replacement on the way. Got the new one, and the same thing happened to the replacement. One of the members here is an EHX engineer who happened to work on that project. The short of it is that he is taking care of fixing my pedal personally. I couldn't be happier with how they're handling it.

I work for a company that manufactures items made by people. I know that occasionally defects happen. The key is how the company handles those issues, and I'm totally pleased with how EHX is taking care of it.

So, that's why I haven't posted a pedal board photo yet.
