I wish there was a place to hear all these and more. I would like to hear Ashdown, GK, Orange, Carver, Mesa, old Ampeg, SansAmp, even Matchless

I'd roadie it myself just hand one over. The 8x10 is a breeze by myself esp compared to the mesa 4x10 I had that weighed as much but had to be dead liftedI'm gonna get an SVT Classic head and 810 just as soon as I get a roadie.
Here's one to encourage you to go for the burst!Love your sig !
I've always wanted a Sunburst bass and the T-Bird is absolutely gorgeous in that finish, so I'm definitely getting one. Last winter, I spent a few months looking in shops and online to find a Sunburst passive neck-through T-Bird, to no avail. Then I learned that Epiphone were only shipping them later this spring... I couldn't wait that long, because I wanted one badly. Actually dreamed about it ! The white one popped up in the locals... not the right color, but with the right specs, so I went for it.
As mentionned earlier, not so sure about a trade-in anymore... I really love the looks on this one and it plays and sounds great. So I might be owning 2 T-Birds ...

So here's why Electro Harmonix kicks ass: my original Bass Soul Food worked for a couple weeks and then developed a problem. The true bypass worked perfectly, but clicking on the pedal caused loss of signal and the only sound coming out was crackly distortion at very low volume. I took it back to the shop I bought it from, who sent it back and got a brand new replacement on the way. Got the new one, and the same thing happened to the replacement. One of the members here is an EHX engineer who happened to work on that project. The short of it is that he is taking care of fixing my pedal personally. I couldn't be happier with how they're handling it.
I work for a company that manufactures items made by people. I know that occasionally defects happen. The key is how the company handles those issues, and I'm totally pleased with how EHX is taking care of it.
So, that's why I haven't posted a pedal board photo yet.
Players with SVT's - I'm curious as to your settings. Any chance you could write down or take a photo of your settings so I can see how you're doing it? I'm using a '94 SVT-CL head.
).Gotta jump in here just to state that my Epi Classic Pro IV just continues to impress the crap outta me... I have several "higher end" basses, but what a great old-school, simple tone. It has that sound (to ME!!!) that comes to mind when everyone else describes that "great P-bass tone."
That's all. Flame suit on & whatnot.
No, I flatten the bejeezus out of them and flow epoxy around the edges to smooth everything out. Also, I am careful to round off and polish out any exposed metal edges. I think the bridge saddle screws would be the most "dangerous" parts on this one.
This bass started out as an Epi "GOTH" Thunderbird, which came to me broken and with the electronics goofed up. So, having nothing of great value to lose.... ART PROJECT TIME!
