Thunderbird Club

(Hear that Mike?!)

Yeah... that second one almost seemed sincere! FINE... if it means SSSSOOOOO much to you... buyer and enabler will both need to fill out the necessary paperwork in triplecate (don't forget the taxable income form), then send them to Gaolee for review (btw... there's a $50 fee for his services). Assuming everything meets his approval... he will submit them to the Queen's personal assistant for prioritization. I understand she's horribly back-logged right now, so it could take 12 - 18 months (the work of a good Queen is never done). Assuming your claim is approved by she who must be obeyed... you'll receive a notice in the mail which will include a certificate with the official seal, proving eligibility. Simply send that in to the warehouse in China with a check or money order for $39.95 for processing and shipping, and your brand new toaster oven will arrive in 6 to 8 weeks (how exciting)!!! :hyper:

You know, just a couple days ago in this very club, my enabling skills were (rudely!) called into question, as if I wasn’t committed to the team. Well, I fought through the pain and frankly, the shame and enabled the sh!t out of some nice fella who just bought that 2013 Gibson with the spiffy pickguard and TB66 pickups at a steal of a price. He PM’d me just yesterday and we chatted quite a bit about T Birds. He purchased the bass this morning at a very good price. So for all you doubters (haters seems a tad harsh), I expect a full written apology (looking at you fixer)
Just one person? And just one bass?
It's a start I guess.

They are a descendant of ACC. So, of course they are good amps. Plus they are solid state, which always disturbs the snobs.

Not so long ago the 'snobbery' was entirely in the other direction, 'valves are bad' etc. Just saying.

A Thunderfunk is going to be on my radar. But the 810 has to go first. Must. Have. 12's.

Nyahahahahahaaaaaaaaa. You'll be run off TalkBass for 'listening with your eyes' if you keep talking like that Jeff.

We are sneaking up on Kat. The question is whether she will add a digit and jump out of the way, all katlike, or if we will finally capture the feral feline.

That would be cheating.

Oh, hell no. I'm required to stay on the opposite side of the planet, for the good of the world. If we were in the same hemisphere, bad things would happen to things like earth rotation and axis tilting and stuff.

The Apocalypse Twins must remain on opposite sides of the Pacific, otherwise it will turn into a car park.

Man, when you put it that way...really makes me rethink everything.

Just kidding, I hate that cat :)
Ok, ‘hate’ is a strong word, let me rephrase. Thinking. Nope, I hate that cat :)

You are a horrible person.

I get a free toaster oven?! When the girl moved in last September, we had this conversation;
“You don’t have a microwave?”
“No, I don’t like microwaves.”
“Can we at least get a toaster oven?”

What a great day this is turning out to be!

Microwaves are great for making porridge and reheating rice.

You can't even use their own WTeeF emoji!:roflmao:

(excellent impersonation btw! If I woulda had my eyes closed... I woulda sworn it was him!)

W.T.F?

I'm kinda sore this morning. Playing a show is being a mover with bad hours and worse pay, at least for weekend warrior types like me. About a thousand pounds of PA, amps, and all that to load up, load in, set up, tear down, load out, and then unload. It's good exercise though. Plus, a couple hours of playing and jumping around works up a bit of a sweat. It was a weird one, though. In a retirement community. Most of the dancers had walkers. That's a new kind of audience for me. They seemed pretty happy, so that's all that really matters. And the P-Bird sounded very good through the 360. We kept having to turn down. I kinda liked it.

Did anyone come over and talk to you about your strings?

Maybe I’ll just settle for my ‘also participated’ ribbon :/

You are a horrible person l. A knife in your mother’s heart. Have I mentioned that?

:)

Well, OK then.
The Apocalypse Twins must remain on opposite sides of the Pacific, otherwise it will turn into a car park.
Or worse. Probably ought to stay on opposite sides of the equator, too.
Did anyone come over and talk to you about your strings?
They told me I really ought to change them because they look too big and that I didn't have enough of them. I didn't point out that my case is more than a foot longer than anybody else's case.

What?

You’re welcome:)
