Thunderbird Club

Might be losing our guitarist, which also means losing our rehearsal space. He's got some tinittus and doesn't want to use plugs, so he may be giving up the band. Additionally, our drummer has moved, and it puts him 45 minutes away. Gonna talk about it soon and see what we're gonna do with it. If this one folds, I'm prolly gonna see if I can get something new together.

Maybe you and @dukeorock could create a band using 2 Thunderbirds and a drummer?

Anyone got any experience of GSS cabs? I’m considering pulling the trigger on a nice looking 112 to double up my markbass...
It’s a £300 cab currently sitting at £50 on eBay. I’m going to have to invoke the spirit of @dukeorock here
Missed out on that one unfortunately. Never mind, I’m in no rush.

Sometimes when looking through the Guitar Center used gear site ya just gotta scratch your head and ask, what were they thinking...
[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

The only conceivable answer is... they weren't/don't! Check this one out...

I can see GC has really stepped up their game in promoting non-sales of poorly/falsely/maybe they actually have it, advertised items.

California is local for @JIO, @GBassNorth, @Korladis, @D.M.N. ....
I know, and it's killing me!
I was torn between the Ebony and white VP and went Ebony for $600 without a case. Now a month later this one shows up for $450 with a case AND the opportunity to try before I buy and no shipping. Dang, not in the market anymore I'm already at n+3 on TBSO. Must ... fight ... the ... urge!!!

Just give in..... it's for the best. Plus, you'll end up with one eventually.

Vince is right. It's really all about economics. You really should do the responsible thing, and buy this bass! You've already expressed your love for Thunderbirds, and more recently, the Vintage Pro specifically. You've also confessed that you have others that "barely get used". You have the very rare opportunity before you, to kill three birds with one stone. Get a white VP... sell off a lesser used bass that you don't feel such desire and passion for... and put some money in your pocket when all is said and done! I fail to see a downside! @Dr_Feelgoood212 ... any downsides?;)

Only downside I see, is that it's not in his bass room yet!
