Vince is right. It's really all about economics. You really should do the responsible thing, and buy this bass! You've already expressed your love for Thunderbirds, and more recently, the Vintage Pro specifically. You've also confessed that you have others that "barely get used". You have the very rare opportunity before you, to kill three birds with one stone. Get a white VP... sell off a lesser used bass that you don't feel such desire and passion for... and put some money in your pocket when all is said and done! I fail to see a downside! @Dr_Feelgoood212 ... any downsides?

Oh not at all! I really don't think that approach is necessary in this case. I mean... it just seems so obvious that it's the smart, responsible, economic thing to do! We're just trying to help point those things out to a struggling comrade

But in all honesty, there isn't much of a market around here for vintage 7ender basses. The guy I bought my pre-CBS from, said everyone else that contacted him, asked what a pre-CBS is.
