Thunderbird Club

Haymans were like the flavor of the month in the mid 70's, the bass player in Brownsville Station used one at one point. I have always wanted to pick up one. I have never actually seen one in person.

Me neither - and quirky they were with the smoke brown/grey Perspex bubble-cover pick-guard and control panels that looked like car cassette players - the use of Perspex (brand name for clear plastic) lead to the development of a full Perspex prototype for John Lennon. Dan Armstrong beat them to the punch producing their clear guitars/basses and only that prototype was produced.

Those ring a vague bell -- they look a lot like Shergold instruments ... consults Wikipedia ... they are the same company. Hayman were built for Dallas Arbiter and then they continued building under the Shergold name. They had swappable electronics modules, some could be converted into double necks etc. IIRC I last saw one being played in New Order.

Yep, all interrelated to Jim Burns of London.

The 100 has three handles, one for each of your arms. Portability problem solved.

 It is a beast! The one I have was recovered in the early creme tolex and only has the top handle. It's a dead-lift with one hand and sure to thrown ones back out.

Congratulations man! Is that the same one you mentioned a couple months ago???

How many friggin' toggle switches are on that thing???

(You need to post another shot of it in front of a light background. It kinda disappears into the ACC grill cloth;))

Yes it is!

Ummm.... I can't count past 2... so I dunno :/

Ya I know. Problem is lighting, it's dark outside, and the rest of the rooms in the house have crappy warm coloured bulbs... not great for pictures if you ask me. I'll try to get a better one later.

I think it has the same control layout as this...

...I'd love to hear what each of those controls can do!

It definitely has the same layout, but I've read different things from different places.
This is all from only a couple minutes of playing it, haven't been able to play it much yet, so I'm not 100% sure about some of these.

The three mini toggles on the bottom, I think cut bass, noticeably, but not to the point of a Jazz sound... all of them in the down position has a REALLY FAT tone! I've heard they are phase switches, also heard they're series/parallel

The big toggle is a pickup selector

The mini toggle in between the 5 position rotary switch and other knob, I'm pretty sure is a killswitch

5 position rotary switch.... no clue... yet

I may be crazy.... but it seems like there's two master volumes.... or it's wired wrong.....

Then tone... I think.... Again, only played it for a few minutes.

EDIT:
About the three mini toggles.
I think, one is series/parallel neck, another is series/parallel bridge pup, then series/parallel the circuit. With them being in series, that might be why it seems like there's two master volumes....
