I have a bolt-on Epi that will eventually get a Dimarzio One in that position. I have too many other unfinished projects ahead of it for that to get done any time soon.
3 pickups ?

That was fun/cool!
One thing that left me wondering though: How come when the "bass player" let go her fretting hand, the "bass" didn't tip over/neck dive?
Eventually.3 pickups ?
Haven't been here for a very long time, just wanted to give my notice that i'm still very much alive & well. Both my Thunderbirds are undergoing some big changes to enhance each to their own tone. Glad to see every one is doing well in this mighty Kingdom!!
Took the words right outta my mouth!Cos it's not a Thunderbird dafty!
They're a great multi talented band. If you check out some of their YouTube videos you'll see that they frequently change up who's on what instrument. Here's one where the lead singer starts to channel Janis Joplin...That was fun/cool!

Couple new pedals arrived today. Driving the girl crazy :/
EHX Superego+
Really neat for drones. Enjoying that quite a bit so far.
EHX 8 Step Sequencer- Super fun with the Superego+. Lots of cool sweeps and synth type modulation.
EHX Mel9- I might find a use for it, but so far it kinda sucks for bass.
Planning on marketing that guitar?
If it works for Angus Young.....................3 pickups ?
Very cool, Congrats!
I second your opinion on the "9" pedals, I really like them but they have limited use on bass. Try playing in the upper registers as you would if using an Ocatver or play piccolo bass through them.
The Bass Soul Food turned up today. It's in time for me to see how it works this evening.Couple new pedals arrived today. Driving the girl crazy :/

That's along the lines of the stuff I play in one of the bands. It all gets warped and comes out different. If we do a song for the first time, and it comes out in a way that leaves us all laughing and wondering how many purists it will offend, then its a song we should do.Never heard of Kahn before, but I really like Mississippi blues type music, gonna have to check out more of their stuff.
The guys I play with right now are all Blues players, I've been been pushing modern Swing, Ragtime and Psychobilly their direction as well and we're lovin it. It's just nice to be out of the mainstream for a while and enjoying energetic or soulful music vs pop and rock all the time. Besides Katzenjammers, we play a lot of Imelda May, Devil Doll and Caro Emerald.
