Thunderbird Club

I have the 66S in both Birds. The DC resistance is around 9KΩ. It's a little more assertive than the normal Thunderbird neck pickup, but then I'm a barbarian, much like my twin @Gaolee. If you were looking for something a little more genteel, the 66N would be the go.
Yeah, the 66N sounds about right for what I do/am likely to do. I looked at their site and I think that's the way for me to go-as soon as i find out how much I'm getting hosed by the IRS.:)

I talked to the luthier in WPB and he told me no big deal, take about 2 hours and done:thumbsup:
Yeah, I got a couple of Thunderbucker 66's as well. AWESOME tone.
EPI was smart in the design of their NR. Dunno but I believe, contractually with Gibson, they could not fit the NRs with humbuckers. I also believe they intentionally set up their NR so that by changing the PG and adding a pickup ring two proper buckers could be dropped in.

Do you have a license for breeding all those pedals?

Oops...

I set up my GK with a single 4x10 last night and just plugged straight in - I'd completely forgotten how good the raw unmodified tone is, I used the Lull and the Purple '76 and had an eargasim
Have to travel for a show tomorrow, may leave the Line 6 at home and play without it for a change.

To be fair, I use NONE of those pedals live...I very rarely use pedals live. Just trying to work on the live looping/single source thing. When you’re trying to make a whole song using only the bass, a couple noise boxes help out :)

As I said to you the other day, this is going to be a real blast in Nashville, going on after the blokes with the banjo, spoons and rattlesnakes.
