Even tho it's not a Gibby,it's comparative rarity and my lack of woodworking skills means I'll have it done.When I described the project to the luthier(who I trusted w/ the'67)he told me it should be fairly easy so I guess it's time to light a fire under my own arse and see what transpires. It's really in the early-read planning-stage but updates will be forthcoming. AFA the $ side of things,I believe this is why God gave us credit cards.

I'll post here first

I have Lollars pups with 500k audio taper for volume

Seems like the pots act more like on/off switches if ya get my drift

Is this the nature of the beast?

I have Lollars in one of my Gibson’s and absolutely love em. Taper is really smooth on mine...wish I could be more helpful!

I learn so much on these international education threads! Can't wait until my first trip down under, where I can use this new found bit of wisdom at a local watering hole. Although I suspect I better get the emphasis on the right words in that little sentence or I'm likely to fed to the crocks!
