Thunderbird Club

I have been thinking about adding chrome pickups to my BlackBird but wasn't sure how it would look. This happened to turn up on eBay today so I snagged a couple pics from the listing. Thoughts/opinions?

Ok. Well I like that.

Personally I would go black pups with that bridge, or more correctly - a chrome bridge or bridge cover with those pups.
I love that pickguard though.

But yep, if that was how one came to me I’d be chuffed.

How the Hell did I just get 13 pages behind??!!

Must have blinked.

Imagine all the guitar stands needed for that photo... ;)

Nah... just lay them about like JAE did.

I'm in that category, I love small engined British sports cars, I've until recently always had them. None have been what you'd call fast other than the Lotus Esprit which was only a 2.2L straight 4 with 180bhp but by Christ could it get round corners, on our small bendy roads it was spectacular. I had a couple with bigger engines, a 3L Austin Healy and a 2.5L Triumph TR6 but they were strictly straight line cars and scary on Welsh roads.

These were our last two, a 69 MG Midget and a 72 MGBGT
