I can add very little information here, but I can tell you that amp was originally sold retail in Canada. It has a CSA sticker CSA Group - Wikipedia indicating that it meets Canadian standards (which are generally identical to US standards).

I believe it's a 1992. Calling fender always work but there are two numbers printed at the bottom of the hand written sticker. Those will definitely tell you. Nice amp BTW..

No stamp in plain sight. By "under the amp housing" do you mean on the underside of the chassis facing down towards the speakers?
Quite possible, I got this while living in Cincinnati, just a few hours from the Canadian border.
Not seeing a hand written sticker anywhere, but there is the tube layout sticker which should have a date on it. Unfortunately it just has an "FW" hand written in the space titled "production".
Good point. With reissues after 88 I believe both stickers had to be on by law. CSA (Canada) and UL (US).
Now, CE stickers (TUV Rheinland back in the day) have to be on products that may be sold domestically as well.
It also makes it easier for the manufacturer to have one SKU on stickers since they don't have to separate and classify them in their stockroom as per ISO requirements. Bureaucracy....

Dunno...you may have to call or write to Fender. That FW doesn't jive with this Fender chart;
I don't know about by law (you may be correct, I have no idea), but certainly in the interest of efficiency. Get one SKU certified CE, UL, and CSA (and any other certification that may be needed) and marked as such and you now have one SKU that fits all those markets instead of having 3 SKUs that are geography specific. Lets you move inventory globally rather than locally.

That's because it was the production manager's last day. He had been mentioned by name in a diss track by Ghostface Killah earlier in the week and was still fuming about it. Unfortunately the lasting legacy is that it means "F Wu Tang". He said later he regretted doing that.
That's very helpful! I'm gonna run with a May of 1995 build date. The person that wrote FW put the W on a bit of a slant and rounded the points so it could possibly be an E if you cross your eyes and blink real hard (think dude ranch where the letter E is laying on its back and called a lazy E)
Now the confusing thing is, I thought the reissues started around 2001. Anyway, thanks again for the help, she might be going on the SoCal craigslist sales block along with my SVT-VR.

Hey just busting in here a minute, oblivious of much... some of our crew here are Sunn aficionados. Anyone ever have or play through a Sunn Sonaro 2x15 cab? I've got a set of 8 ohm E140s (for a 4 ohm.load), and need a cab for them. I'd like to have it together by this Saturday, which is our 80s band's first show- at an Elk's lodge in Mansfield, MA. 
Anyone with a Sonaro (just the cab) story?

Mansfield, funny my ex wife used to work at Jimmy's Pub LOL!!! I had on with the stock JBLs in the early 80's. I played a Rick 4001 into a Sunn 2000S into the Sonaro. Amazing box. What amp are you driving it with? Stop by the VFW 2626 on Cockasett for a before/after (or both) gig drink. Cheap and good pours..
Misbehaving Mesa...when will manufacturers learn that tubes and FR4 don't mix.....guess as long as it works past it's one year warranty period.....

Black Stone Cherry are from the same small town in KY where i lived during high school. I used to jam with the singers dad sometimes when I was first learning to play. Pretty cool to see his son in action and living our teenage dream.
