Thunderbird Club

There's a Blue one @ GC Lafayette, LA, $1000

Yep. I have been eyeballing that one. Can't make a move a the moment tho.

When I bought mine, I planned on getting the Pelham blue, but once I saw the graphite pearl, I had to have that.

That would be another excellent choice. I love that finish as well.

Saw a pic of one in Graphite Pearl-Stunning!drool

It looks better in person. The colours are an ever moving rainbow. Seeing one in person is all that is needed to understand how I moved from Pelham blue to breaking the no white, black, or grey rule (which I suppose is more of a guideline).

Edit:
And I still need a holoflash Spector...

I’ve been doing a lot of recording lately, so I’m getting super anal about tone. I’ve switched strings between my basses and tried every combination, and I have to say - the new VP is even better than I initially thought. The stock pickups on my ebony sound amazing with rounds for that picked piano tone, and my Thunderbucker 66 sunburst one is basically a vintage p bass+ with flats and a .1uf tone cap (shager is bright otherwise).

Having said that, I did just impulse buy a nice Japanese p bass 62 reissue. It’s super red!

Ok so I see rule #10 now. My intention wasn't to rile up Thunderbird fans. I thought people would detect the sarcasm. Hopefully if I ever land a T-bird of my own in the future, I can still be welcome here. But I might buy another LPB in the meantime, no offense.
One of the Most unfortunate aspects of the written word is its inability to convey tone of voice to express emotion or intent. In high school days(60s), we often spoke in "Opposites"-such as "I care", when we really didn't. That doesn't work online.

You think that is bad... Try describing a song! You know like the one that goes bump bah bah bah Da da da da da.

I "love" it when someone asks if we do any "blues". So we do one and it's not the one they wanted so we suck-LOL:banghead::confused:

“HEY!!! (drunk girls yell ‘HEY!’ a lot) if you can’t react to every thought my tiny, Smirnoff Ice addled brain thinks up at every given moment, how can you call yourselves prfessunells?!”
