...at a drunken bachelorette party in downtown Nashville, I'm pretty sure anything they want to call Blues is officially Blues for that night.
Tennessee, the land of beautiful horses and fast women (actually that's Kentucky, but Tennessee is close enough). ;)

That's nothing. I was a retail pharmacist very briefly:
Patient: I need something for pain.
Pharmacist: Something like Tylenol or Motrin?
Pt: Something with codeine
Ph: Do you have any allergies?
Pt: Tylenol and codeine. And Aspirin. And Motrin.
Ph: :confused:o_O you are allergic to codeine, but you want it?
Pt: Well, I'm allergic to every drug, but I need something for "the pain".
Ph: :rollno:

I later learned that "the pain" was a common ailment and that there were many patients allergic to "every drug".

And this is why I hate people (although there are individuals of whom I am quite fond).

In my college days I worked at a liquor store, the customers we got there made you question Darwin's theory of survival of the fittest.

Typical wine discussion with a customer...

Customer - I need some wine for a date tonight
Me - what vineyard or type of wine would you like?
Customer - I don't know
Me - do you want a red or a white wine?
Customer - not sure, what's the difference?
Me (trying hard not to roll my eyes) - besides the color, the flavor and the cost they're all about the same.
Customer - in that case I'll take a red wine, it's her favorite color.
Me - are you having this with dinner?
Customer - no, we'll probably have beer with dinner, this is for after dinner, you know, to get her in the mood.
Me (suspecting a known outcome, but asking the question anyway) - about how much did you want to spend?
Customer - oh, maybe five or ten dollars.
Me (now entering passive aggressive mode) - sounds like Thunderbird would be perfect for your date.
Customer - is that good wine?
Me (putting lipstick on a pig) - keep it in the fridge and serve it on ice with a slice of an orange on top and she'll be impressed.
Customer - cool, I'll take ten dollars worth.
Me - ok, here's your five bottles, enjoy.
Cool - that's enough for a couple of dates, thanks man!
Me (muttering under my breath) - good luck with that!

I need your help on my LP build please, I'd like some very honest opinions of this headstock design. My concerns are:

The shape/suitability for a Les Paul. It is very close to the original apart from the scalloped end. I tried to make it look like a dragons mouth but the best I can do would weigh too much so I've dumped that idea

Secondly the dragon MOP inlay design, obviously a Welsh dragon but is it suitable as an inlay on a saleable item for a target buyer other than Nicky Wire?

The text inlay is my branding so that stays

I think it looks grand.

But I’m a Dragons fan.

That looks great to me. I would buy that.*

“HEY!!! (drunk girls yell ‘HEY!’ a lot) if you can’t react to every thought my tiny, Smirnoff Ice addled brain thinks up at every given moment, how can you call yourselves prfessunells?!”
Making other people respond to every thought their tiny, Smirnoff Ice addled brains think up is how bass players are responsible for the propagation of the species. It is a weighty responsibility, but we are bass players. We are up to the task. Plus, we are 'Bird players, which makes us even better suited for that kind of weighty task than ordinary bass players. We still don't have to play Free Bird except in an emergency.

A guy like that probably has "dates" it would work for a couple times. Mark plays "blues" for them.

I'm having a tough time not seeing it as a Gibson headstock that's had the end lopped off. I wonder how it would look if the shoulders were slightly asymmetrical to match the end.

I like the dragon inlay. It looks labour intensive, but I've never done any fancy inlay work.

Three thoughts about it.

1. It's as close to a snakehead headstock as I have ever seen that doesn't look awful. The strings are nearly straight, which is very difficult to do without making it look like an unfortunate and malformed knob end. You pulled it off with this one.
2. The end could be shaped a bit more. Not Rickenbacker more, but a bit more than just an asymmetrical pointy arc.
3. I like the dragon a lot.
