That is eggzactly what I meant... and I like it quite a lot... I just don't know if I like it better than the one you turned 90 degrees from that!
Gibson made one originally using an EB-2/ES335 body instead of an EB-3/SG body. The one with f-holes is the one that I have secret GAS over. Life and everything is about the f-holes, after all.
I haven't, but I'm pretty sure several of us have. Mark probably. He's been the royal string tester lately.Anybody ever use TI flats on a Thunderbird?
This one. Without the word dragon. Just the Welsh dragon.
WHEW!!!Agreed! I had to try

I agree whole heartedly. Unfortunately, I'm more familiar with the A-holes...Gibson made one originally using an EB-2/ES335 body instead of an EB-3/SG body. The one with f-holes is the one that I have secret GAS over. Life and everything is about the f-holes, after all.
If anyone had liked it I would have had to doubt them for evermoreWHEW!!!![]()

Very prettyAfter a brief dalliance with the possibility of a 64 TB II, I have bought another bass.
I just could not justify the price being asked for the TB II- given it had a headstock repair. The guy actually wanted more than I paid for my 1956 100% all original P Bass a few years back.
The "new" bass satisfies a Pelham Blue itch and has a pickup set that should be a bit different to my Les Paul, TBird and ES 335 basses. I understand people talk highly of this combination (ceramic in the neck and alnico TB +s in the bridge) in the SG Bass, but I could never come at the short scale. I should have it in a week or so.
A very well cared for (immaculate) 2014 Midtown Signature- in Oz and so no problem with the Rosewood police.

I'm fairly certain he was suggesting using only the dragon shaped inlay in the center, and going with no lettering...

I would LOVE to see your Gibson family photo! I'll be looking forward to it!I'll take a few shots of my Gibsons when this one arrives and post them here, if you like.
When you think about it- Gibson produced some really cool basses in the last decade. It is such a tragedy things are where they are now.
